On my second day in Ocho Rios I went to the Dolphin Cove and shopped in the Coconut Grove Shopping Centre. At the Dolphin Cove, I swam with the friendly and adorable dolphins and interacted with other sea creatures like stingrays and sharks. At first it was extremely scary but the animals gave me a warm welcome once I got into the water with them.
After that, I spent a couple of hours in the Coconut Grove Shopping Centre to pick up some souvenirs. I bought some really interesting and unique things that I will definitely be keeping for the rest of my life. During the day I was able to see the multi-coloured roofs and during the night the shopping centre is brightly lit up with colourful lights. I was lucky enough to see how the shopping centre looks during both, the day and night.
On the last day here I decided to go to Reggae Beach, even though the resort I stayed in was located on a private beach. Reggae Beach was very relaxing and calm. I went early in the morning so there weren’t many people so it was quite quiet, which I enjoyed. The sand was so soft and smooth, and the water wasn’t too cold or too hot. It was perfect. There was also a small restaurant with really great food. They served fish, fried chicken, jerk chicken, and steamed vegetables.
After I got a slight tan and swam in the beach, I headed to an amusement park called Rainforest Bobsled Jamaica in Mystic Mountain. There were all kinds of fun activities to do here. I participated in zip lining and bobsledding, and went on a ski lift as well. The bobsled and zip line were such a thrill, and the views from the ski lift were incredible! Ocho Rios was such an amazing city and my stay here was so exciting and adventurous. It was definitely a great experience!
